The International Humanitarian Law Desk at ICT invites you to a unique event addressing the involvement of children in terrorism. Recent events in Syria and Iraq have brought to the forefront of the public discourse the use of children by terrorist groups – a phenomenon Israel has faced under various forms for years.

The conference brings together representatives of the Israeli legislative and judicial branches, journalists, international lawyers, counter-terrorism experts, and social workers in the hope of demonstrating the complexity of the challenge and the need for broad-based strategies in contending with it.
