Ms. Sigalit Maor-Hirsh

Ms. Sigalit Maor Hirsh is a Fellow of the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at Reichman University. She explores the connections between sociology and technology in the nexus of society, nation-states, and Internet giants. Her research includes social protests, terrorism, election processes, and more, all of which are related to social networks.

Ms. Hirsh is a faculty member in the Data, Administration, and Democracy Division at the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy and a lecturer at the “Sami Ofer School of Communication,” Reichman University.

She has served in the security sector for over two decades cumulating her career in the public security sector as the Prime Minister’s Office’s Head of the Cyber division while recently managed an information & directive project at the IDF Home Front Command, combining data, society, and the army. She is also a founding partner of a startup in the field of cyber and intelligence.

Ms. Sigalit Maor Hirsh holds an MA degree in the Middle East in Modern History from Tel Aviv University and an MA degree in Communication & New Media from Reichman University. She graduated from the Wexner Foundation for Senior Managers in Public Service in Israel in 2016.
