Incorporating tools and concepts from the broader individual and group psychology fields, members of the desk work to analyze the individual or group psychological mechanisms that drive terror. Among other topics, the desk will analyze concept of “honor” in Jihadi culture, the influence of speeches from leaders, and the psychological impact of social media use on terrorist behavior patterns.
