Mr. Yigal Unna

For four years (2018-2022), Mr. Yigal Unna served as the Director General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD), the primary Israeli operational agency responsible for securing Israel’s cyberspace and critical infrastructures. Mr. Unna reported directly to the Prime Minister as head of the independent civilian security agency.

Prior to serving as the Director General, Mr. Unna served as founding Chief Executive Director of the Technology Cyber Unit in the National Cyber Bureau, the predecessor agency of the Israel National Cyber Directorate. Prior to this Mr. Unna served for 23 years with the Israel Security Agency (Shabak) in the fields of data warfare, signals intelligence (SIGINT), where he finished his service as the Head of the Cyber and SIGINT Operations Division, equivalent to the rank of Major General. Before working with the Israel Security Agency, Mr. Unna served for for six years as an officer in Unit 8200 of the Israel Defense Force.

Mr. Unna has a B.A. in History and an M.B.A., both from Tel Aviv University.
