Deborah Schimenovitz is a Researcher, Internship Program Manager, Co-Host of (F)Acts of Terror Podcast at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at Reichman University. In addition to her work with the ICT, Deborah also currently works as a Teaching Assistant in several B.A. and M.A courses at Reichman University.
Prior to her current position, Deborah served as an intern and later research assistant at the ICT, and as an account manager and community leader in a prominent digital marketing firm.
Deborah holds a BA in Government from Reichman University, and recently completed the courses for the MA in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security, with an emphasis in Cyber Terrorism, from the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy. After completing the requirements for the MA in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security, Deborah began writing her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Eitan Azani.
Her research interests include counterterrorism, the application of targeted killing, Hezbollah, and international policies towards the extremist organization.
