Year Ahead – 2022 – Lieber Institute at West Point

Daphné Richemond-Barak, an assistant professor at the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy & Strategy at Reichman University and senior researcher with the ICT, was published in an “Articles of War” publication from the Lieber Institute at West Point. In the piece, Dr. Richemond-Barak and Professor Laurie Blank outlined how their belief that policy makers and academics “need better tools for identifying the end of conflict.” Citing the recent withdrawal of United States forces from Afghanistan as an example, Dr. Richemond-Barak and Professor Blank, explore the challenges for identifying the end of conflicts, and how this will continue to be a challenge in international in 2022.
