Speaking with KAN 11, Dr. Michael Barak discussed ISIS’s historical presence in Israel in the aftermath of two terrorist attacks carried out by the three ISIS-affiliated terrorists in Be’er Sheva and Hadera.
Researcher on Global Far-Right Extremism Desk and Marketing Manager of the ICT. As a researcher, Alex currently analyzes emerging trends and threats in the global far-right. In addition to his work with the ICT, Alex has also served as a guest lecturer in BA and MA courses and currently works as a Teaching Assistant in several courses at Reichman University. Prior to his current position, Alex served as an intern and later research assistant at the ICT, and as a history teacher in the United States. Alex holds a BA in Education, with an emphasis in History from Maryville University, and recently completed the courses for the MA in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security, with an emphasis in Cyber Terrorism, from the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy at Reichman University. After completing the requirements for the MA in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security, Alex began writing his thesis under the supervision of Dr. Eitan Azani.
