Ezra Saar

Mr. Ezra Saar is a Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Reichman University, Herzliya.

Prior to joining the ICT, Mr. Saar served in various operational and leadership positions at the Israeli Security Agency (ISA / Shabak) where he served for 32 years.

Mr. Saar is an expert on intelligence, Palestinian terrorism and international cooperation.

Prior to joining the ISA, Mr. Saar enlisted in the IDF where he served as an officer in the Armored Brigade.

Mr. Saar has a BA in Orientalism (Arabic and History of the Middle East) from Bar-Ilan University and a MA in Government with Specialization in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security from the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy at Reichman University.

He is fluent in Arabic, English and Hebrew.
