Alexander T. Pack

Alexander T. Pack is the Director of Projects and Researcher at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) and adjunct faculty member at Reichman University, where his research primarily focuses on counterinsurgency (COIN), terror organizational structures, terror/extremist use of the internet, and terrorist use of emerging technologies.

In addition to his work with the ICT, Pack is also an adjunct faculty member in the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy at Reichman University, teaching courses on Open-Source Intelligence, Security Studies, and Geospatial Intelligence. Outside of his official faculty responsibilities, he serves as a guest lecturer in BA and MA courses.

Prior to his current appointment, Pack previously served as a Junior Researcher, Marketing and Distribution Manager, Project Manager, and Internship Coordinator for the ICT. During his time with the ICT, Pack co-founded and is the former co-host of the (F)Acts of Terror podcast. Pack also serves as the co-managing editor and editorial board member of the International Counter-Terrorism Review (ICTR), a leading peer-reviewed academic journal for young professionals in terrorism and counter-terrorism studies.

Outside of academia, Pack served as a Human Exploiation Researcher at ActiveFence, specializing in research related to the nexus between online platforms and exploitation.

Pack holds a BA in Education, with an emphasis in History from Maryville University, and an MA in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security, with an emphasis in Cyber Terrorism, from the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy at Reichman University. Pack is currently completing his doctoral studies on insurgency and counterinsurgency under Prof. Assaf Moghadam.
