Mr. Yoram Israeli
Yoram Israeli served for 25 years in the Prime Minister’s Office in a variety of positions in the fields of counter-terrorism and espionage, combining intelligence details into a whole picture and managing intelligence operations, professional guidance in operational areas, and building an R&D system in a unique professional field.
In the field of intelligence, he was engaged in intelligence analysis and formation for the purposes of managing operations, countering terrorism, and directing intelligence-gathering factors. This field is characterized by tactical management under pressure, along with resource management and long-term professional processes of strategic importance. In this area, he was involved in managing operational processes in the interface with other units in the Prime Minister’s Office and other agencies in the Israeli intelligence community.
For several years, he was managing a branch that was involved in thwarting various types of espionage against the State of Israel.
His main activity over the years was in the field of counter-terrorism, both as an employee and as a manager. In this occupation, he deepened his specialization in dealing with countering Islamic terrorism, for which he studied and specialized in religious and ideological characteristics.
Yoram has extensive knowledge of the Arabic language, including dealing with Islamic religious content.
Over the years, he has specialized in the professional accompaniment of complex operational processes while cooperating with several parties in the Israeli intelligence community.
In his last position, he was involved in the construction of an R&D unit of unique professional fields.
He has a bachelor’s degree in the History of the Middle East and Political Science from Tel Aviv University and a master’s degree in Tel Aviv University’s senior program in Middle Eastern studies.
