Fellow, International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), Reichman University; CEO, CIPTeam Ltd.; Veteran Crisis and Cyber Negotiator; Former Officer, Israeli Security & Intelligence Community; Expert in Cyber Crisis Management, Hostage Negotiation, and Counter-Terrorism.

Mr. Yuri Kogan, CEO of CIPTeam, specializing in cyber crisis preparedness and response. As a seasoned crisis negotiator, Mr. Kogan possesses hands-on experience in conducting crisis and hostage negotiations in both criminal and terrorism incidents. As a cyber negotiator, he successfully managed and mitigated numerous ransomware attacks on behalf of major international companies, corporations, and governments.

A veteran of the Israeli Security & Intelligence community. Throughout his years of public service, Yuri fulfilled a range of field, command & staff positions with the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel and the Israel National Police.

A graduate of the National Executive Intelligence Training Program, with an academic background in Behavioral Sciences, Criminology and Counter Terrorism. Certified as a Crisis Negotiator by the Israel National Police and the FBI.

Education: Bachelor (Cum Laude) in Behavioral Sciences, Ben-Gurion University, Master of Arts in Criminology, Bar-Ilan University, Master of Arts in Counter Terrorism with a cluster in Cyber Terrorism, Reichman University, Winner of the National Consulting Competition as a member of the Reichman University Consulting Club
