Chief Superintendent (Ret.) Asher Ben Artzi

Chief Superintendent (ret.) Asher Ben Artzi is a Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), Reichman University, Herzliya, Israel.

Following 34 years of service with the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and with the Israel National Police, Chief Superintendent Chief Superintendent (Ret.) Ben Artzi retired. He holds an M.A. degree in Administration from Haifa University.

During his tenure with the Israel National Police, he served as the Director of the Security Department and later as the Director of INTERPOL & International Operations. In this post, Chief Superintendent Ben Artzi administered and directed the Israel INTERPOL Division and was responsible for the cooperation with other international police services and intelligence agencies, dealing with drugs and organized crime. His duties included the interchange of criminal intelligence, extraditions, handling criminal activities of Israeli citizens abroad, and providing legal assistance to and from foreign police and intelligence agencies. He also supervised the Police Attachés in Washington and Los Angeles and was in charge of liaison and communication with foreign police and intelligence representatives serving in Israel.

Throughout his career, Chief Superintendent (Ret.) Ben Artzi cooperated with major U.S. federal agencies including the FBI, DEA, and Secret Service, as well as with agencies around the world.

After his retirement, Chief Superintendent (Ret.) Ben Artzi became the founder and CEO of IPSC (Intelligence, Police & Security Consultants) (www.i-psc.com), and is the Chairman of the Board of Black Wall Global (www.blackwall.global), an Intelligence, Cyber & Defense Agency founded by veterans of elite intelligence and cyber units. He is also a partner at SPARTA Ltd. (www.spartaltd.com), specializing in Security Solutions, Training & Technology.

In addition to his business ventures, Chief Superintendent (Ret.) Ben Artzi is active in academia and advisory roles. He is a Research Associate at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) in Israel, was a lecturer at Varna University in Cyprus (Department of Public Security), and serves as a member of the Board of Advisors of the Dead Sea Scrolls Project at Princeton University, USA.
