Lt. Col. (Res.) Itzik Toorgeman

Lt. Col. (Res.) Itzik Toorgeman is a Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), Reichman University.

Toorgeman is a senior strategic adviser and intelligence analysis expert. He served 25 years in IDF as intelligence officer in Intelligence Department of Israel (IDI). He has vast experience in analysis and research of complex issues in changing environments. He has expertise in all intelligence disciplines on national, strategic, operational and tactical levels.

He also won the Creative Thinking Award from the Director of Military Intelligence twice because of significant analysis projects. His most recent jobs in IDI included: head of research and analysis divisions and intelligence officer of a combat division.

Toorgeman is the owner and manager of “Etrog – Competitive Intelligence”. “Etrog” provides its customers a unique value for innovation by competitive intelligence analysis researches based on open sources to improve business performances and increase business revenues. “Etrog” focuses on research and consulting in three fields:

1.   Counter-terrorism and HLS.

2.   Customer service and customer experience trends.

3.   Green construction innovation.[KL1]

He holds a BA in Middle Eastern studies from Ben Gurion University, and MA from Tel Aviv University in Public Policy (Executive program).
