The Honorable Ayelet Shaked

Ayelet Shaked currently serves as Israel’s Minister of Interior after serving as Israel’s Minister of Justice through the years 2015-2019 and as a member of the Security Cabinet. She addressed an array of critical issues and led a number of key legislative reforms – presenting them to the Knesset (Parliament) and its relevant committees. Minister Shaked also chaired the Judicial Selection Committee and the Ministerial Committee for Legislation.

Ayelet Shaked was born in Israel in 1976. She completed her military service with the rank of sergeant. A computer engineer by profession she holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. She is married and the mother of two.
