Dr. Dror Harel
Dr. Dror Harel is a Research Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at Reichman University, Herzliya.
Dror has held different positions within the Government of Israel. Most recently, as a Legal Advisor charged with aspects of International and Comparative Law as they relate to counter terrorism; focusing mainly on Criminal International Law, International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights Law, EU Law & Foreign (domestic) Law.
Simultaneously, Dror served as a lecturer at different universities, teaching courses in international law, counter terrorism and human rights.
Dror Holds an LL.B (Bar Ilan University), LL.M (University of Toronto), M.A in Political Science (Tel Aviv University) and a Ph.D (Bar Ilan University). Her Ph.D dissertation was titled “The Human Exception: A Human Rights Protocol to the UN Convention on Immunities of States and Their Properties”.
