Prof. Zeev Drori
Research Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism at Reichman University, Herzliya
Diverse and extensive experience as an IDF career officer (paratrooper and commander, retired ranked Colonel), academic faculty in leading universities in Israel (Ben Gurion, Tel Aviv, and Haifa), industry (production and branch Manager, Netafim), and senior administration (CEO, Kinneret College). Gained Ph.D. in History in 1996 titled “The Role of the Israel Defense Forces in Establishing Israeli Society in Settlement, Alia Absorption and Education, 1948-1953”; an Associate Professor since 2016. Main areas of research and instruction: Israel Studies, Israel Military History, Guerilla and Terror Warfare, and Middle East Studies. Authored or edited 12 books and more than 40 articles. Lectured in tens of conferences worldwide. Last offices, Head of Academic Department, B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies, Kinneret Academic College and Chairman of the Association of Researchers of Military and Society in Israel.
