Dr. Eran Israel is a former senior police official and a Research Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at Reichman University, Herzliya.

Israel was head of the community policing department and was a partner in the establishment of the Civil Guard in Israel.
He is as well a presidium member of the International Police Association and Secretary-General of the Israel section. He is also a member of the international social and culture commission.

Lastly, Israel is the head of a company engaged in consulting in community policing, volunteering, communications, marketing, and organizational consulting.
