Colonel (Res.) Reuven Ben-Shalom

Reuven Ben-Shalom served for 25 years in the Israel Defense Force as a helicopter pilot and in various international relations positions.

In the Operations Branch of the General Staff, he oversaw interagency and international cooperation programs in Homeland Security, Counter Terrorism and Special Operations.

Reuven served as director of the North America Branch in the Planning Directorate, where he led all Israel-US military relations.

He served as Director of the International Fellows Program at the Israel National Defense College.

Reuven is the founder of Cross-Cultural Strategies Ltd., focusing on strategic consulting and facilitating international, cross-cultural collaboration.

He is a columnist for the Jerusalem Post, and consults, teaches and lectures in various forums.

Reuven holds a B.Sc. in industrial engineering and management and M.Sc. in business administration from Ben Gurion University.

Reuven lives in Modiin, with his wife and three sons.
